Minor League Broadcasting
In the past we have worked with minor league teams in different leagues and sports and at all levels. One item that some have struggled with has been media coverage, with the hardest being the game-by-game play-by-play on radio. Thanks to the internet those days may be something from the past, especially if properly marketed.

Below are some items that can help you have your own media department at a very affordable price. We hope this info will be of help to you, we would be happy to answer any questions you might help. Your IT folks and your pr folks can be the key to making this work.

These are items we are familiar with, there are also other programs that might work as well.

Stretch Internet

Stretch Internet is used by many college athletic departments and pretty much gives you total access to reaching your fan base locally and around the country. There is a price to operate this form but easily covered with broadcast partners. Unlimited listeners can log on. To make this cost-effective you will also need a telephone plan that has a set fee. Vonage is only $29.99 a month unlimited around the country and Canada, it is a VoIP service.

Equipment - JK Audio - RemoteMix C+

The above equipment can be used to do games live, plus other programs like the coaches show, etc. You will need to also purchase the proper microphones as well

Audacity - The Free, Cross-Platform Sound Editor

This is a free program you can download and edit pre-recorded programs or to use for podcasts. Very simple to use...

Podomatic - free storage for your podcasts

a great way to store podcasts, completely free

How to promote your broadcasts

*- live game announcements and link placed on all marketing ads (radio, tv, program, etc)

* - link on your web site

* - allow local media sources to place broadcast on there web sites, also allow corporate sponsors this opportunity
