EXAMPLES OF MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Work to enhance the existing athletic program. Schedules contests and maintain a close working relationship with District high school athletic personnel. Represent the college in a professional manner as an athletic liaison with other educational institutions; establish and maintain necessary records and equipment. Supervise and instruct student-athletes during practice and games, including travel to contests. Monitor daily academic progress of student-athletes. Comply with all rules and regulations of San José City College, the Coast Conference, and the California Commission on Athletics. Conduct ongoing recruitment of players within those rules and regulations.

Women's Volleyball Coach
Concord, NH: NHTI in Concord is seeking a head coach for our women’s intercollegiate volleyball program. Responsibilities include coaching and instruction, organizing practices, maintaining statistics and working with the media.. The season runs mid August through early November. This is a stipend coaching position.Our current Head Coach Malee Irving will assume the position until a new head coach is appointed.

Molly Manthe 5'6 Senior (2009) Libero - Albany (Minn) Area High School
Senior (2009) Libero who is interested in playing college volleyball. I am not sure what level she fits at right now; I am thinking Division II or Division III. She is very good at reading the court; she can get any ball and certainly puts forth an effort on every ball.This season, she is averaging 5.4 digs per game. She has a total of 305 digs in 56 games played. In more competitive matches, she averages over 6 digs per game. (some of our matches, there is less opportunity for digs because the opponent's attack is not very good!) Molly plays defense in the left back position this year; last year, she played from the middle back position in a rotation defense and averaged 3.8 digs per game (312 total in 83 games played). She was our team Rookie of the Year last season, and also the West Central Conference North Defensive Player of the Year. Besides digs, Molly is our primary serve receive passer. She passes in the "6" position in all 6 rotations, and passes over 60% of our serve receive passes. On a 3.0 scale, she is passing 2.25 this year. Last year's average was 2.11.Molly moved here from the state of Washington before her sophomore season. She had been on a Junior Olympic team in Washington that qualified and played in the Junior Olympic National Tournament in the summer of 2006. She made an immediate impact on our varsity team as a sophomore.
