reads great on defense, very instinctive player, averaged 3.8 digs per game, able to play middle or left back, decent ball control, solid topspin jumper serve, enthusiastic team leader, works very hard in weight room & out of gym to stay in shape, will graduate w/ AA degree Spring 2010, very outgoing personality & gets along well with all teammates, interested in communications/public relations
Olivia Romero 57 setter 3.61 gpa
had a great season and was selected to 2nd team All Conference, averaged close to 9 assists per gm which was 2nd in conference & led setters hit% at .420, more of a quieter team leader but does very well as floor leader, loves to swing block & was 3rd leading blocker on team despite size, plays great defense & averaged 3.2 digs per gm, can run all tempo balls very well & is very coachable, always looking for ways to help team & keeps herself in great shape, hoping to graduate as Academic All American.

can play any of 3 front row positions as last year was OH--in high school played middle--and this year was starting opposite, can hit slides also, can hit line & cut cross court to area 2, is 1st leading point scorer with serve, very vocal & confident player, averaged 1.7 kills per game & .68 blocks per game, can play back row efficiently, good team leader on & off court, not afraid to give teammates push if needed, will also graduate as Academic All American.

had a very solid year & I believe was one of top middles in conference, averaged 2 kills per gm/.98 blocks per gm which was 4th in conference. & hit .283 for season, mobile & can hit 1st tempo balls in any slot on net, loves to hit slide, absolutely crushes the ball when she gets a hold of it, GREAT team leader, very intrinsically motivated, works very hard in weight room & keeping herself in good condition & is strongest player on team, also has AAS in culinary arts & was home schooled, recently visited West Texas A&M, will grad as Academic All American in December with AA & looking to transfer at semester.Patrick Mooney - South Mountain Community College - Head Volleyball Coach
