GRADUATE ASSISTANT – TRACK & FIELD AND CROSS COUNTRY
Defiance College, an NCAA D-III institution located in Northwest Ohio, seeks qualified applicants for a graduate assistant track & field/cross country coach. Responsibilities include serving as the primary assistant to the head track & field and cross country coach, recruiting, meet preparation, practice planning & organization, scheduling and assisting head coach in all phases of student-athlete mentoring and evaluation, and other administrative duties as assigned. Start date is January 4, 2010. This 2-1/2 year assistantship requires a bachelor’s degree, admission to the graduate program at Defiance College, and experience as a collegiate cross country/track & field student-athlete. Compensation includes an annual stipend, graduate school tuition, room within campus owned housing, and meals when served to students during the academic year.
