Dan drew the "Shelby" sketch for the beanie baby that was created. Dan is
well known in the comic world having worked for DC Comics and is now on the staff of
the well-know comic strip "Blondie".
"Shelby the Unique Sheep" is a children's story about a green sheep that finds out that it is ok to be green.
It was written by Keri Schmidt of Celina, Ohio who wrote the story while in the eighth grade and won a
local writing award. Keri is now a Speech Patholigist in the Rockford, Illinois School District.
