Hawaii Collegiate Baseball League is looking for potential players

The Hawaii Collegiate Baseball League, a 6 team summer league based in Honolulu, Hawaii has a select number of roster spots available for interested players. The summer season will run from mid-June through July. 35 game regular schedule along with a 4 day playoff tournament to determine the league champion. There is also a MLB scout day and All-Star game scheduled for early July.

We are currently seeking pitchers (both starters and relievers) for 2009 season.

The league provides housing to players in private apartments as well as transportation to and from the playing field on game and practice days.

Great South League Team Looking For Players

The St. Augustine Saints of the Great South League are seeking quality position players in CF and RF. Further, there are a couple of spots on the pitching staff for the summer 2009 season. We currently do not have host housing so we are seeking local players within commuting distance to St. Augustine, Florida for the 2009 season. West Coast Collegiate Baseball League Team Looking For Players

Moses Lake Pirates (Moses Lake, WA) Participate in the West Coast Collegiate Baseball League. The Pirates are currently filling the roster and are in need of pitchers (both starters and relievers) and looking for a catcher for the 2009 season which runs June-August. Players are housed with host families while in Moses Lake, given a membership to a 24 hour gym and supported greatly by the town located in central Washington. The Lake Erie Monarchs www.lakeeriemonarchs.com are members of the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League.

We are based in Northwest Ohio and play home games at Bowling Green State University. We are currently searching for a shortstop, a catcher and a corner outfielder for the 2009 season.

We are also planning a 13 day pre-season trip to Alaska as part of an 11 game tour of the Alaska Baseball League in 2009.

Quincy University - NCAA D2

Brett Zurliene 5’11” second baseman and right handed pitcher

He will hit in the middle of the order for us and will be the closer for our team. He is mid to upper 80’s on the mound with a slider and a changeup. Last year he hit 3rd for Kaskaskia Community College and hit 350 with 13 doubles. He can play 2nd, 3rd and pitches. Played with the Quincy Gems two summers ago in the CICL. Drury University - NCAA D2

Joseph Rohlfing: Junior SS

who has started every game in Drury Baseball history. Freshman of the year in 2007 and hit .372 with 11 doubles and 12 SB's. Will be our leading hitter again and has a chance at playing at the next level if he continues to put up outstanding numbers. Is a 3B at the next level.

RJ Knese: Sophomore Catcher/CF

hit .369 as a Freshman playing in 45 games and hit 3 HR. Good runner for a catcher because small in size. He split time behind the plate, and in CF but was runner up in Freshman of the Year voting in the GLVC. He is a plus at both C and OF.

Maury Wilmes: Freshman infielder

from St. Dominic HS. 6.9 60 runner and showing signs of power in the fall. Will come in a start as a Freshman for us and solid with the glove.

Chris Barratt: Freshman LHP

who will make an impact on our league all 4 years. Hard curve with FB at 83-85. Will compete on the mound and playing D-II because he is an OUT as well. Would compete at D-I as a pitcher.

Andy is a very good defensive player who can play SS or 2B w/ avg to above arm. He is a 6.8 runner who will hit in the 2, 6, 7, 8, 9 in our line up.
